What Is Loose-Editorial Wedding Photography?
When you look back on your wedding photos, I don’t want there to just be pretty photos. I want you to feel how it felt on the day you were married.
My approach is rooted in what I call loose-editorial photography. A style that blends the truth of documentary storytelling with the creativity and refinement of editorial imagery. About 85 to 95 percent of how I photograph a wedding is documentary-led. That means your experience is centered on being able to take in every moment without feeling pulled away from it; fully present.
You get to laugh with friends, celebrate with family, and take quiet time to reflect if that speaks to you. You get to live your wedding day, not perform or check off boxes for it.
The “editorial” part comes in gently, woven into the real moments that are already happening. It’s about artistry and attention to detail, noticing how light falls across your dress, or how a still moment between you and your partner can feel cinematic without ever being staged. It’s not about perfection; it’s about presence, style, and emotion living together in the same frame.
Loose-editorial photography gives you the best of both worlds; natural, honest storytelling with space for intentional beauty. I’m here to take care of you and create an experience that feels like a weight has been lifted. You can live your day fully, knowing your story is being captured artfully, honestly and without the weight of performing for photos.
